Crown muffin pans

If you are curious what a crown muffin pan is, then here's a picture of the one I
have from Williams-Sonoma. The ridge at the top allows the batter to rise
up into a nice dome (or crown) without spreading out all over the pan. The
muffins look so nice that you'll never go back to a regular muffin pan.
Keep in mind that 1 crowned muffin = 2 regular muffins, so don't pig out
too much. By the way, I highly recommend the Gold-touch pans at
Williams-Sonoma. They are incredibly non-stick and durable (so the pans
don't warp in the oven), and they are covered by a lifetime warranty.

Abracadabra!

I thought I'd experience the magic of emailing something and then seeing
it appear on my blog. I love baking, and I love photography (though I wish
I was better at it). Here's the marriage of my two loves, inspired by the
vegan blog I mentioned before. Crown muffin pans are the best. The only
thing better would be muffin top pans.

Hello?

I have to admit that I have only ever read one blog before (www.veganyumyum.com --amazing!) and just visited Xanga for the first time a few weeks ago (a friend had posted pictures with celebrities at Lakers playoff games). I don't really understand the point of having a blog because I'm not a particularly interesting person. And who would come across this anyway? As a favor to Garry, I will try using posterous. Who knows, it might change my life! I still won't know how to text message or even get a fancy ring tone on my phone, so I guess I won't be able to take full advantage of posterous' features. Garry, thanks for making the web interface foolproof enough that even I could figure out how to post this.
